Derrick is a 10-year senior Reward veteran with a previous 20 year background in Finance.

Derrick has been Head of Reward at various companies and looks at the area through a Total Reward lens: executive and employee pay, short and long term incentives, equity, benefits, pensions, recognition, regulatory pay, and the associated annual processes and tools to embed world-class global Reward operations.

He has been directly involved in two private equity buy-outs, overseen numerous M&A transactions and several other corporate restructurings.

Derrick also has broad HR experience in performance, competitive analyses, financial services regulatory reward, Talent-Reward interlinks, organisation design, and change management.

Derrick’s Reward career began at the Royal Bank of Scotland where he was Head of APAC Reward and Coutts Private Bank. He then moved to Thomson Reuters as the Global Head of Reward – Financial & Risk, and was also a Trustee to the Thomson Reuters Retirement Plan. Most recently, Derrick was Kantar’s Global Head of Reward.
